Too far to turn back
Jun 17th, 2008 by Fruit Punch
Haven’t you ever got this feeling that you should stop moving forward, and turn back and see what your past is doing without you? That question doesn’t even make sense, so don’t even think about it. But I do know a lot of us wish we could just put our life on a pause and analyze what’s really going on, before we go any future.
It’s totally normal to think back on the past, but you shouldn’t dwell on it, especially if it’s about something you wish was still in your present. Don’t go day dreaming on that subject, because it will bring you exactly where you want to be, in the past. Be proud of the things that you have accomplished so far, and work to make the future ten times better then the present and a hundred times better then the past.
I’m going to give you quick example on what took place to me two weeks ago. I had a couple weeks off from school, and those were the times I really wish I had school. Sounds strange but it’s the truth. I have actually grown to love school, and rather be doing something there, then nothing at home.
So there I was, at home for all that time. Then it started to get to me, I started to complain that I was bored. Not even internet was keeping me busy, I had trouble sleeping at night, and was quickly aggravated. I needed something to do, and I needed it fast.
I had put myself down in such a slum, that I couldn’t even write on my site. Kept complaining that I didn’t know what to write, kept complaining that I didn’t have nothing to do. Call me crazy, but I was actually getting sick of myself.I had no feelings to do anything, I just lay in bed for two whole weeks. Can you imagine that?
Fast forwarding things a little bit. How did I get out of it? The same way I got in! I stopped complaining, and actually start keeping myself busy so I wouldn’t have to complain about being bored. And hey I’m writing on my blog again!
You have to realize that you’re in control of your life, anything you think of most of all day is what will happen. You can put yourself in a good mood just as fast as you can put yourself in a bad one. So get up and jump on the moving train of life, it’s much better then sitting down on your butt all day beeing a bore to yourself.
