Priceless, yet warm hearted compliments
Mar 9th, 2008 by Fruit Punch
Thank you, I Appreciate it, That’s very sweet, You are so kind, You are a blessing in my life, and the list goes on are things that bring us closer to the ones we love. Just to show the person that you care about them.
There might be someone is your life that has done so much for you, and you want them to see how much you appreciate them by buying them a gift. But you are running low on cash, what do you do? You can go down to a store that sells cards and buy that person a nice little card that expresses the way you feel about the friendship you have. And add words of your own if you like. Or you can just tell the person face to face how you feel.
It will touch their heart. It’s the little things that count, and in this case when money is tight-”it’s the thought that really matters”.
When writing this post I came up with a great idea, which I would like you to do along with me.
I told my room mate that every morning when we wake up, we will give one another a compliment, and explain why. We will do this for one whole week and see how stronger our friendship will grow.
This I want you to do also. It can be with your mother, father, kids, wife, husband, co-worker, lover, friend, classmate. Who ever you choose, you two must agree that it will be the second thing you say to one another in the morning (after Good Morning of coarse).
After a week I will let you know how it went with my room mate and I. I would also love to hear how it went with you and that special person. If you don’t want to leave it with a comment, you can always email me: tropicalpunch@hotmail.com
Appreciation goes a long way…
