Fruit Punch Diary

Life is too short, you will keep hearing through out your life. It is too short to take for granted and so much more. But that I will get back to in a few.

We all need one another in life. And I hope when I say “need each other” that you don’t change the words around with “use each other”. Because that is how some people take this saying. Needing one another is helping one another.

I will give you a good example. In my class everyone isn’t so well in English, because Curacao is a Papiamentu/Dutch speaking island. So when we have English class and the teacher is busy explaining a student and the rest doesn’t understand they come to me for explanation. And I do it because I know at the beginning of the school year when I didn’t know ear wax about their language they helped me out. Even up to this day they are helping me improve. So it’s like I wash and you dry. Hand in hand we are helping each other.

Now there is another way that people use “we need each other”. If you don’t help me, then I won’t help you either. If you don’t talk to me, then I won’t talk to you neither. You want to act like you don’t need me, well I don’t need you either. Now that is just a bad circle of negativity going around. All this is about looking down at each other, no one wants to make the first move.

I will be honest with you. I do think like that sometimes but in a different form. For example, if we are friends and I buy you gifts when it is your birthday, Christmas, valentine’s etc and you never once bought me anything not even a card then I will definitely cut off that part of the friendship. It’s not that I buy because, I want you to buy me something back. For I could have just used the same money and just bought myself something. It’s just the appreciation that I look for.

In short terms, what I’m trying to say is our surrounding is full of people. And you can’t live a good life, saying that you don’t need anyone. You might not need someone to help you out financially, but you might need them to help you out socially. You might not need someone to lead you through on your entire journey, but you might need someone to show you the way(the right path). So everyone needs someone for something, whether it’s just to have someone to talk too, to listen too or even give you advise; we need one another.

“Life is too short”. Life is too short to envy and hate on other people, it is to short to have a fight with a friend and stop speaking too them until you feel that the time is right, it is to short to be bringing others down, it is to short to be crying all the time, it is too short to be thinking negative, it is to short to be stressing the small stuffs or even stressing at all…and the list goes on…

You never know what tomorrow holds, but you do have a clear view of the present because you’re standing right on it. Let’s appreciate one another and life a little more. The 14 karat golden rule will always stand “Do unto others, that you wish to be done unto you!!”. It speaks for itself.

We say that life is too short, but how can we really measure the length of life? We want life to be longer, but how long is longer? And how short is short?

The saying of life is too short comes in that you never know when it’s your time to go so enjoy everyday to the best of your possibilities. Don’t let the sun go down with a frown on your face, and don’t like it rise up that way either. Do as much as you can, too the extend that you want and try and accomplish all your goals that you possible can.
