Missing in action

Here I am in Curacao, while it’s Carnival season down in St. Maarten. I won’t lie and say it’s not bothering me, because it is. Everyone coming online and saying how sweet the jump-up was, and how sick the upcoming shows is going to be. Keisha Cole is coming, this person is coming etc etc.
I am a Carnival animal, especially the jump-ups. I never missed a jump-up in the last three years, even when I was in the Committee last year I took part in a little wukking up 
. Don’t even talk about jouvert morning…(when the jump-up start 4 in the morning until the sun go up), that is just the bomb. I also took part in the troupe for grand parade three years in a row, and now to be missing this really breaks my heart.
I love my Carnival, and I am disappointed that I will be missing it this year. But school comes first they always say…sigh… Better luck next year I hope.
For those of you who never been to St. Maarten during Carnival, make sure you’re there, or start planning your vacation for next year! “Carnival 2009, we coming down to buss up a wine”

First of all i gotta say..i feel very sorry that my boo fruit punch isn’t here enjoying the Carnival. But I do agree with her
“School comes frist in life..”. Boo I hope u going to be here for Godspare life next year “Carnival 2009″. And since ur not here..i going to enjoy it for the both us.

good decision, its worth it in the end coz you can attend all the Carnivals you want without feeling guilty ever!!!God willing. Good luck with your studies and your exams.
